CONFIRMED: Mentoring Research Students

CONFIRMED Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1:00pm to 2:00pm

One of the major focuses of faculty members is the successful mentorship of graduate students. Here we will discuss the roles and responsibilities of an effective mentor, strategies for successful mentoring, and address challenges in mentoring. We recognize the difference in mentoring master's students as compared to PhD students and will discuss the differences as well as similarities.
