SMART Fellowship for ECE MS Student

ECE MS student Matthew Tidwell received a scholarship under the Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation Program (SMART) funding his graduate education through May 2019.  Upon graduation Matt will join the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI.  Matt will also spend summer 2018 as an intern at NUWC.  

Matt graduated from UMass Dartmouth Magna Cum Laude in 2017 with a BS in Electrical Engineering.  During his undergraduate program, he worked as an undergraduate research intern in the Signal Processing Group,  advised by Prof. John R. Buck.   Matt lives in Westport, MA.
