ECE PhD Student David Hague
ECE PhD Student David Hague received an invitation to present in a special session on Continuous Active Sonar at the 2015 IEEE/MTS Oceans Conference to be held May 18-21 in Genova, Italy. Jointly sponsored by the Marine Technology Society (MTS) and IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (OES), the OCEANS conference and exhibit is the major international forum gathering together scientists, engineers, responsible ocean users and decision makers to present their cutting-edge research results, ideas, and applications in Oceanic Engineering and Marine Technology.Mr. Hague will be presenting results from his PhD dissertation research on new waveforms for active sonar systems. A native of Fall River, MA, Mr. Hague received his BS and MS degrees in ECE from UMass Dartmouth in 2005 and 2012. Mr. Hague received a Department of Defense SMART Fellowship for his graduate education, and will work at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport RI upon graduation. Mr. Hague is a member of the Acoustic Signal Processing Group, advised by Professor John R. Buck.
