Dr. Rosha began her career inside the college classroom teaching early American literature and composition. Having been a first-generation and low-income college student, and based on her research on class and capital, she began searching for opportunities to increase academic success for all students. Her search led her to academic advising.
For over a decade, Dr. Rosha has worked on increasing persistence and retention among first-generation, low-income, and/or BIPOC students. She really loves the work she does: “I get to be the person I needed when I was younger. It’s a gift to make that kind of difference in the lives of young people."
