Before coming to UMass Law, Joseph was a Small Business Owner and a Technology Consultant. His earlier technological training was obtained while he served as an enlisted member in the U.S. Army Signal Corps across the U.S. & in Europe.

Joseph is also an elected member of his local School Committee representing Malden’s Ward 6 in Massachusetts, 2020 through 2022.
