Eva dos Santos, PhD is an alumna of UMass Dartmouth and her journey in the world of adult basic education and ESOL began with a deep love for languages. From an early age, she was fascinated by the intricacies of language and its power to bridge gaps and foster understanding between people from different backgrounds. This passion led her to pursue formal education and training in adult basic education and ESOL, honing her skills and expanding her linguistic repertoire along the way.
Throughout her career, Dr. Dos Santos has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative educational programs that address diverse learning needs. Her work has significantly impacted learners by improving their language skills and enhancing their opportunities for personal and professional growth. As Director of the Workers' Education Program at UMass Dartmouth, she continues to drive excellence in adult education, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all participants. Dr. Dos Santos remains dedicated to advancing educational practices and empowering individuals through effective language instruction.
