Biography
David Rufino is a member of the Cape Symphony and the Plymouth Philharmonic. David has performed with orchestras throughout the Northeast including New Bedford Symphony, Orchestra of Indian Hill, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Lexington Symphony, Bangor Symphony, and Symphony in C. David has also performed with the Company Theater, Theater by the Sea, Diana Krall, Herbie Hancock, and Quincy Jones.
A committed educator, David is the horn instructor at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and in the Westwood Public School Prodigy Program.
Mr. Rufino holds a Bachelor of Music from Temple University and Master of Music from Boston University. His primary teachers include Adam Unsworth, Jerry Peel, Eric Ruske, and Jeffry Kirschen.
