Dr. Chan Du serves as Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance Department in the Charlton College of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Before she joined UMass Dartmouth, she was an assistant professor in the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno. Dr. Du has taught Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and Financial Statement Analysis at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research interests are in the areas of corporate governance, executive compensation, earnings management, and firms’ risk-taking. She is also actively involved in research in teaching and learning scholarship. She has published various peer reviewed journal articles and conference manuscripts.
