Erick Maldonado showcases issues of identity through his portraits of student leaders in UMass Dartmouth’s community. He celebrates the resilience and strength that exudes from black culture. Maldonado focuses on the narratives that are formed by black students and their voices. Explore black identity as Maldonado imbues his subjects with an abundance of visual personality.
