The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) has the pleasure to present the seventh annual Emerging Young Artists exhibition at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
The exhibition will be on view in the CVPA Campus Gallery on the first floor of the CVPA building at UMass Dartmouth, 285 Old Westport Road, Dartmouth from January 22 to February 8, 2020. The EYA 2020 exhibition reception for the exhibiting young artists, their art teachers, the UMass Dartmouth community, and the general public will be held on Saturday, February 8th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (Snow day: Sunday, February 9). Awards will be presented by Dean Lawrence Jenkens at 2:30pm. Parking for the event is Lot 4.
The College of Visual and Performing Arts is thrilled to host this highly competitive annual high school juried exhibition and recognize the exceptional merit of art students from high school art programs in New England. The Emerging Young Artists 2020 Juried Exhibition received submissions from 276 young artists, from which the juror, CVPA’s Dean Lawrence Jenkens, selected 79 works for the exhibition.
