Statement

This storyboard is merely an extension of a larger game project I hope to create in the future. I began this project last year in Pre-Capstone. I started off with just making the concept art and character designs for the ‘who’ and ‘where’ in the story. The story takes place in the northern parts of a fictional land called “Eldentoria”. A small ice village of primitive Eldrens (that’s this world’s version of elves) is running low on food supply as a result of harsher climates. Isa, a curious hunter gatherer and the protagonist of this story goes out hunting with a friend named Eir and find a crater in the earth where an injured ice dragon lays sleeping.

Given the plot synopsis was about an elf and a dragon, that was where I stared with the project. Whenever I was designing these characters, I often asked my classmates for feedback on Isa’s design.
