Biography

I am graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in the spring of 2020 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Business Administration. Driven by natural elements and interesting design, I create in hope that my work will draw people in and encourage new habits. As a designer, I have the power to influence an audience through both the elements I have chosen/choose to use and how I have applied/will apply them. When designing, I hope to create pieces that inspire my audience, spark interest, and remain in the subconscious of their minds
that lasts beyond their present-viewing. I plan to pursue a career that allows me, as a designer, to not only accomplish my goals, but to exceed all of my own expectations.

Statement

Having a house plant adds both whimsical and peaceful elements to a home. Many individuals stray away from having real plants in their homes because they lack the knowledge on how to keep the plants alive. Sync & Sprout, a hypothetical organization, was created to educate people on how the effects of having a house plant positively impact day to day life. The mission of the company is to guide people through the upkeep of houseplants with ease. The features include detailed instructions, reminders, and photo documentation of how a plant should be growing. All elements of the experience come together in a simple way to allow individuals a more positive sense of living through the upkeep and enjoyment of house plants!
