About Zachary Redding

Zachary Redding is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Game Arts at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, with an expected graduation this May. Before joining UMass, he studied Design & Visual Communications at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton, MA.

Passionate about a future in concept art and character design, Zachary is gearing up for his career post-graduation. Beyond the creative realm, he finds joy in exploring the comic book and science fiction genres, with a special affinity for Marvel and Star Wars. When not immersed in his artistic pursuits, he enjoys the tunes of Big Time Rush and the captivating soundtracks of his favorite movies.

Statement

When I was nine years old, my life changed as I walked through The Magic of Disney Animation exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL. After learning what animation was over thirteen years ago set my life on a course in pursuit of a career within this industry. I never changed my mind. I’m happy to say that I found a passion for concept art and was beyond thrilled to use this passion to tell the story of Dimension Force.

Anyone who knows me well knows that comic books and science fiction have always been a big part of me. Therefore, it was important for me to create something that paid homage and culminated with everything that has made me into the person that I am today.

Dimension Force is just like every other superhero origin story. It tells the story of a trio who have suffered great losses and have lived through a lot. When their worlds come under attack, they have to step up and work together to defeat their common foes, while space and time hang in the balance.
