Statement
“Tales from the Omnium Gatherum” issue 1, tells a discretionary tale of the woes of gambling through a sarcastic lens. Action, comedy, and heartache are all prevalent themes that allowed for me to show an array of artistic ingenuity. I found this story important to tell as it was a love letter to the horror fiction books and shows I grew up with. Campy characters, bright colors, drama, magic, and a talking skeleton are all here in this story. At the end of the day, my hope is that this story is found to be nostalgic to others in the same way it has been for me.
