Statement
Kaleb finds inspiration in Video Games, Pop Culture, Anime, and Fantasy. He starts his design process through journaling. Compiling images, lyrics, sketches and other materials into a notebook, he develops design boards illustrating client, season, mood, inspiration and color story. Once the initial research is complete Kaleb begins to sketch, researching trends, past and present, to predict new directions for a fast-paced market. Style-lines, shapes and trends are then translated into patterns to reflect his vision. Designing primarily for women – much of his work borders on androgyny, creating looks for a larger target market. Kaleb brings a sense of humor to his designs leaning in to his inspiration and allowing his clients to express themselves through his designs.
