Statement
Although I’ve always had a passion for organization, I’ve never been able to stick with a traditional agenda book for an entire school year. I always wrote deadlines on scrap paper and made charts that worked for me. This process led me to the Bullet Journal method, where users take blank notebooks and create planners that work for them. After years of creating my planning system, I became tired of recreating the same designs repeatedly. I wanted to make a unified system that could be used easily.
“Crafted Intention” is an all-in-one planner that includes everything needed to organize one’s life. It is a handbound journal, with a yearly poster calendar, monthly postcards, and weekly sticky notes. This project combines different design aspects and explores layout, type, printmaking, and bookbinding. It is all brought together through the cyanotype photographic process.
