About Spencer Chant

Hello! My name is Spencer Chant, and my passion lies in character art. Through both fan art and personal projects, I have honed my ability to create and replicate characters in both 2D and 3D, as well as both in still images and animation. I’m skilled at replicating complex character designs in a more simplistic and stylized form, allowing for easy animation or comics. Similarly, I have experience creating assets for video games, perfect for smaller scale games that could use stylized assets. 

In addition to stylizing existing characters, I’m also highly experienced in creating original characters. While I have several examples in my portfolio, none are more self-evident than my ongoing Graphic Novel project, Cyan’s Strange Day Out. It’s a story about a boy who gets sent to a Digital World and is forced to take the mantle of hero and save it from a killer virus. The story features a blend of action and humor with a cast of wacky characters with unique, stylized designs and powers. Will Cyan succeed? You’ll have to read to find out.
