Art + Design: Animation + Game Arts
About Mitchell Aubin
My name is Mitchell Aubin, and since I was a child, I have had a great interest in 2D artwork and always enjoyed creating said artwork myself. I enjoy drawing characters and environments from fictional worlds that I personally create for stories alongside my peers. Through my college experience, I have learned to effectively increase and refine my skills in doing this, continuing to draw countless characters and world building my own societies. I have also effectively increased my standard skill in terms of composition, form, color theory, and storyboarding. I have always desired to work on projects that deal with 2D animation and use this art medium to tell a story. I am also interested in teaching this art to others as I do enjoy working with kids and teaching them what I have to offer. I have a large understanding of adobe products and have tirelessly worked with them across my college experience. What I’m most effective at is my ability to work on a team and discuss ways to solve any problems that may occur in a development process. I also can effectively follow instructions and can take charge to lead people on a project if need be. What differs me from others is that I am capable of creating a story with my artwork without using any dialogue for it. What I want to do for the future is continue to create stories and characters as well as teach kids how to be better artists as well.
