Art + Design: Graphic Design | Photography Minor
About Maximilian Glick
Maximilian Glick is a graphic designer and photographer from Sudbury Massachusetts, graduating in the spring semester of 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography. Growing up on the east coast, Max has spent many days and months outside exploring the various outdoor offerings all over New England. His love for the outdoors can be found within different parts of his work with his passion for photography and hands-on creative processes. He is always willing to try new processes to expand his set of skills to incorporate into his own design identity whether that is digital, physical, or somewhere in the middle.
Statement
Max developed a passion for exploring nature in his youth, particularly the white mountains of New Hampshire, where he would hike, climb, and camp with his friends. These experiences allowed him to push his boundaries and discover his abilities, ultimately contributing to his personal growth and development. The experiences that Max had taught him that by venturing out and taking on challenges that many would deem unattainable, he was able to build his self-confidence.
The organization known as MASSIVE aims to provide young adults between the ages of 18-24 with the opportunity to explore the outdoors and discover their capabilities. By engaging in unique outdoor experiences, participants can build confidence and learn about themselves in a way that is not possible in a traditional classroom setting. The goal of the program is to inspire participants to challenge themselves and pursue their passions while fostering a sense of appreciation and respect for nature.
