About Dylan Kaplowitz
Dylan is a graphic designer from Eastham Massachusetts. At the age of 23, Dylan returned to school to complete an associates degree in General Education from Cape Cod Community College. He then transferred to UMass Dartmouth to study graphic design. Dylan has done an exceptional amount of freelance work and real-world projects during his time at UMass, and takes pride in working hard with real clients. He’s won two notable awards, including the William Bulger Presidential Scholarship, and the Leduc Center Art and Civic Engagement Award. Dylan is overflowing with gratitude towards his professors and fellow students, and looks forward to staying in touch!
Statement
For his capstone project Dylan created his personal brand identity. He wanted to make something that really felt authentic to his personality, and that took several tries! His goal was to create a brand that felt like his journey to being a graphic designer. So, he made something funky, memorable, unpredictable, and joyous. The imagery of fire and lightning have always had great personal significance to him, and he wanted it to be the center of the brand.
