About Kyle Trahan

Kyle Trahan went to greater New Bedford Voc Tech and studied engineering where he was fascinated by making 3d models with auto cad and trying to come up with ideas. He learned how to plan out, designs for objects and make isometric sketches. In his senior year he had worked with a team to build a remote operated vehicle and piloted it in the MATE ROV championship, where they made internationals. After Graduating he went to UMass Dartmouth.

After going from computer science to business majors, he switched again went to animation and game arts where he found his passion in creating something. he enjoys working on projects and exploring software's like maya, adobe photoshops, and especially Zbrush. After College Kyle plans to continue working on a library of models and assets to creates scenes and animations.

Statement

I have been drawing since I could every remember but I always loved making things and wanted them to move and have a soul of their own. I started as a 2d artist but have gradually moved to a more 3d standpoint. I love making characters or props and wanted to make concepts and then work them into maya or zbrush and substance.

For my project I have wanted to make game in unity and design a where the player adventures out from the town of Jern in a vibrant world of magical jungles and treacherous wastes. I wanted a theme were magical and fantasy can meet a sci-fy setting. In the world people had migrated to a new planet but all the technology of the old world was lost. They had to start from scratch again but some artifacts of technology still remain and are only accessible to some.
