About Esther Alvarez Gondres
Esther Alvarez Gondres is a Graphic Designer & Developer who comes from the Dominican Republic. She is passionate about visual projects and creative solutions in various media. She earned her associates in fines art at Community College of Rhode Island and transferred to UMass Dartmouth to get her bachelor’s in graphic design with a minor in computer science. Also, she considers herself to be particularly curious about learning new things in different areas of knowledge that can be integrated into multidisciplinary vision, carrying out experiences through design in various aspects of visual and spatial perception.
Statement
Augmented reality can bring painting, books, space, merch, and many other things to life. It tells its own story and makes you be part of the design. As a designer, I would like to break the boundaries of the traditional media, by adding a digital layer to classical works of art with AR technology.
The vision of this interactive book for children is to create an extraordinary experience with AR format, consisting of a more visual way of learning objectives of Technology. The outcome of this book is to promote motivation, creativity, and the construction of learning, through the incorporation of Augmented Reality technologies.
