About Jacq Ducharme

Jacq Ducharme is an aspiring artist from the Plymouth, Massachusetts area. They have curiosities in branding/identity design, packaging design, painting, photography, jewelry metals and many sciences including anthropology. Jacq has been attending University of Massachusetts Dartmouth since 2015 and will be receiving their BFA in Art + Design, Integrated Studio this Spring. Jacq thrives in and draws inspiration from atmospheres outside of their comfort zone.

Statement

“Send It Brew Co.” is a craft beer branding/identity project based around skateboarding subculture. This work is an exploration of two facets in my life that I feel very passionately about, the art of skateboarding and the world of craft beers. My intention with this project is to help dismantle stereotypes and rewire how the subculture itself is perceived by the general public. This is through the use of sophisticated illustrations, well thought out typography and strongly developed products. It’s goal is not only to be fun, but also provide an educational moment for its intended demographic. With plenty of research online and in person as well,

I feel as though I have curated something special that will have a niche part within the craft beer community and a soft spot to skateboarders all over.
