About Courtney Cotter
Courtney Cotter earned her Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from Bristol Community College, before transferring to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. In her time in the Graphic Design program, she found a love in printmaking and designing digitally for print. She plans to continue learning and exploring silkscreen after graduation, while working to build her own business in the field using both her design knowledge and printmaking skills. When she isn’t designing, she loves home DIY projects, hiking and cooking.
Statement
This project stemmed from my love of food, festivals and cooking. One of my favorite warm-weather activities is attending fairs, concerts and festivals with friends, and trying all of the delicious food on wheels that I can. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to own and operate my own food truck. While this has always been a dream for me, I decided to live it out through my thesis design project. I wanted to pick a topic that would show off my design skills while embracing the fun and joy of art and design.
The deliverables for this project include full design and branding on the food truck, supplies, website and merchandise.
