In 2013, the Art History Department presented a one day Symposium entitled, Made in the USA, The History and Legacy of Cold War Art & Design, with Keynote speakers, Jennifer McGrory, principle architect of the new Clarie T. Carney Library at UMass Dartmouth and Timothy Rohan, University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
