NUR 740: Promote Health, Shape Hlthcare - spring

Promotes health across local, national, and global settings with an emphasis on population health. Analyzes determinants of health that contribute to chronic illness and disease prevention needs in defined communities and populations. Reviews various health promotion theories/conceptual models supports to generate theoretically driven, culturally-relevant, evidence-based health promotion interventions with consideration of issues of safety, access, and equity. Synthesizes recommendations for policymakers to communicate with target audiences for policy change.
