MUS 149: Applied Vocal Studies I - spring
Prerequisite: Co-req: MUS 291; Individual Applied Music fee; Weekly private lessons
General Education requirement: Cultural & Artistic Literacy
Weekly private lessons. All students wishing to progress to the next level of applied music lessons (i.e.152 to 251 or 252 to 351) must pass a juried examination. Students who are not granted promotion must continue to register for lessons at their current level. Students who fail to advance after two juries at the same level are not allowed to continue as a music major but may continue as a music minor.
