LAW 734: Zealous Criminal Advocacy - spring
Prerequisite: LAW 520, LAW 521, LAW 576
A simulation course teaching students how to defend a criminal case from bail to trial. Students conduct legal research, perform oral advocacy, and engage in trial practice. Simulations will include client interviews, bail hearings, making objections, motion practice, cross examination, and a mock trial. Upon successful completion, student can apply for one of the County Bar Advocate Programs in Massachusetts.
