Business Undeclared

All UMassD students are required to declare a major when they have accumulated 45 credit hours. Those students who have accumulated 45 or more credit hours and have not declared a major will have a hold placed on their registration. The hold will be lifted once a major has been declared. You may obtain a change of major form from the Registrar's Office.

Each major within the college requires 27 credit hours or 9 courses. Generally, each major has 24 credits of coursework within the major and a 3 credit business elective. A business elective is any 300-400 level course in the College of Business. Once you have chosen your major, you should get a requirement sheet that is specific to that major.
