Introducing our new Teaching Assistant

Nadia Rodriguez is a Teaching Assistant at UMass Dartmouth Workers’ Education Program. Born in Honduras, Nadia was an ESOL student at the WEP for five years. Now, Nadia helps students learn English! She enjoys working with both teachers and students. Nadia likes spending free time with family and friends, and if they ever need help, she’s there for them. She also donates to causes that support children with disabilities. One of her favorite quotes is from the Bible, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Nadia claims to be a shy person, but you would never know it because she always jumps in to help students learn English!
