Getting in front of students at UMassD could not be easier. Some employers want to work with athletes, others want to connect with specific majors or student clubs. Pick from the following sessions or craft your own.
- Info Expo: Inside the Industry: Showcase your company's expertise and industry leadership at your Info Expo! This is your chance to enlighten students about your field, share insights on emerging trends, and highlight your organization's role in shaping the future. Engage with a curious audience eager to learn from the best in the business.
- Connect & Conquer: Networking Essentials: Share information about professional networks and your experiences in navigating industry landscapes. It's all about creating mutually beneficial relationships with the student talent pool at UMassD.
- Skillset Success: Industry Essentials: This is your chance to outline the competencies you value in employees who will shape the future workforce. Answer questions about tech and soft skills needed to be competitive in your organization and the industry. Your insights will help students align their learning paths with industry needs.
- Lunch & Learns: Host a pizza lunch for students and connect in an informal setting. Bring a slide deck to introduce them to your organization and offer advice about the workplace and a typical day, the recruitment process, and connecting college to career.

Looking for an efficient and effective way to recruit many summer interns or full-time candidates? We will work with you to plan an on-campus hiring event which includes an information session, resume collection, and back-to-back on-campus interviews. Recruitment could not be easier. Employers typically interview 30 students during a single event!
Employer Office Hours
Meet students where they are, literally. Book space in the Career Center or one of our 5 colleges to meet, one-on-one with scheduled students in person or virtually. Bring your industry expertise and company-specific knowledge to advising sessions including resumes, cover letters, mock or informational interviews, how to connect with hiring managers, and more! Office hours are held on weekdays over a few hours; 20-minute prescheduled time slots are available.
