These events offer employers from a wide range of industries an excellent chance to connect with students from every major. Fairs are open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent alumni.

UMass Dartmouth Part-time Job & Internship Fair

Date: Tuesday, September 10th, 2024,
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Location: Tripp Athletic Center

The UMassD Part-time Job and Internship Fair serves all students looking to secure a part-time job on-campus (Federal Work Study [FWS] or Non Work-study [NWS]) and/or off-campus (Community Based Work-Study [CBWS] or employer paid). This fair brings in various employers including health care, government offices, ABA and recovery-related organizations, retail, and food service. Students from all majors & programs are encouraged to attend this event.

UMass Dartmouth Business Career Fair

Date: Wednesday, September 25th, 2024
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Location: Marketplace
 
The UMassD Business Career Fair serves students looking for internships & full-time jobs in a variety of business areas. Undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni from the Charlton College of Business (Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Operations Management), and the College of Arts & Sciences majoring in Communications, Psychology, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Economics, English, etc. are all welcome to attend this career fair.

STEM Career Fair

Date: Thursday, September 26th, 2024

The UMassD STEM Fair serves students in the College of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science), College of Arts & Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Math, Pre-Med, Sustainability), SMAST (Marine Science & Technology). Students seeking to build their network, explore industries, and looking for internship and full-time opportunities.

Professional & Graduate School Fair

Date: Thursday, November 14th, 2024
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Location: Marketplace

The UMassD Professional & Graduate School Fair serves all class years and majors looking to explore post-graduate and certificate options. Juniors and seniors searching in earnest for these opportunities. Students looking for graduate programs or considering the idea of attending grad school in the future.

Career fair cancellations & refunds

If you must cancel your registration after payment is made, a full refund will be provided if requested via email by 5:00 PM (EST) 10 business days prior to the event.  If cancellations are made after the 10-business day deadline, 50% of the total amount of registration fees paid will be refunded. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.

No shows

Registered organizations that no-show for a career fair will not be refunded or credited toward any future Career Fair. Organizations with outstanding fees 30 days post-career fair will not be permitted to attend future career fairs until their account is paid in full.

Inclement weather policy  

If UMassD is closed the day of the career fair due to inclement weather, Career Center staff will assess the situation and decide by 8:00 AM on the day of the event.  Registrants and representatives will be notified via email and an announcement will be posted on the Career Center website.

If the career fair is cancelled due to inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule.  Those employers able to participate in the new date will have their registrations transferred.  Any organizations unable to participate in the new date will receive refunds if Career Center is notified by the deadline communicated with the rescheduled event information.
