Why I stay involved at UMassD 

“Staying involved at UMassD has been like a second beginning for me. As an undergraduate on campus, I was not involved in much, although I wanted to be. Now, I am able to overcome that anxiety and voice my opinions, concerns, and share the direction I hope to see the University move towards. 

Additionally, it was UMass Dartmouth that allowed me to flourish and realize what I am truly capable of. Through the great professors and peers I encountered throughout my 4 years on campus, I have learned so much. Because I was welcomed with open arms, I would like to give back to the UMass Dartmouth community.” 

How do you hope to make an impact on UMassD students and our community? 

“I hope to make an impact on UMassD students and the community by strengthening the foundation set in place that instills a sense of belonging. My goal is that all students and alumni will feel a sense of pride when looking back on their alma mater.”
