Parking permit
To obtain an Alumni Parking pass, you must first create an account on the Corsair Network. Once your membership has been approved, you will need to head over to the resources tab to download your Alumni Membership Card. Once you have your Alumni Membership card, you will need to bring your card, ID, $25 in cash, license plate number, and vehicle registration to Parking Services located on the bottom floor of the Campus Center. You will need to repeat the alumni parking pass process each semester. The Alumni Parking Pass will grant you access to the same parking lots as commuter students. Auditing classes
Massachusetts residents over the age of 60 qualify for a discount to audit classes at UMass Dartmouth that offers up to $708.50 per semester for undergraduate courses and up to $1,035.50 for graduate courses (if applicable). Fees may apply. Please see more information and required application for tuition credit from the Bursar's Office.
Claire T. Carney Library
UMassD Alumni have certain borrowing privileges from the library. Your Alumni Membership card, found on the Corsair Network, is required for this benefit. All library patrons, no matter what their status, must not have any overdue library materials/equipment or outstanding fines in order to have borrowing privileges. The following are materials that may be borrowed:
- Annual reports
- Audio books
- Books from the general collection
- Browsing books
- CD-ROMs
- Compact discs
- DVD’s
- Maps
- Slide sets
- UMassD theses (copy 2 only)
- Videotapes
- Several types of materials are for Library use only, including Reference books, and Archives & Special Collections materials. Periodicals may be borrowed for a short loan, which will be determined by Circulation staff. Please bring periodical to the Circulation desk for checkout.
Materials may be recalled for use by UMassD students, faculty and staff any time after the first fourteen days of the loan. All library materials needed for Reserve can be recalled at any time. After a recall notice has been sent, all patrons have one week to return the material or a fine of one dollar ($1.00) per day will commence, up to a maximum of fifty dollars ($50.00). If a library borrower does not return the item within ten days, he/she will be sent a bill that includes the fine up to the date of the bill. For more information about the Claire T. Tripp Athletic Fitness Center
Alumni memberships to Tripp Athletic Fitness Center are available. Alumni are eligible to use the UMass Dartmouth pool during open swim times. Your Alumni Membership card, found on the Corsair Network, is required for this benefit. Alumni are allowed two guests and must be present with guests at all times while in the Aquatics facility. The Open Swim schedule is available online or by calling 508.910.6910. This schedule is updated every other week and is subject to change due to lifeguard availability.
Pool programming is also available based on a first-come, first served basis. Fees are association with these programs. Examples include a Masters Swimming program. This is not a lesson program, but designed to provide instructional and structured workouts for swimmers of all abilities including the recreational swimmer, triathlete and seasoned competitive swimmer. Another example is Lifeguard Training and Recertification classes.
UMassD Alumni can purchase a membership at the Tripp Athletic Fitness Center. Your Alumni Membership card, found on the Corsair Network, is required for this benefit. Memberships may be purchased for one month; by semester; for six months; summer; or annually.
