Date: November 7, 2024
Time: 9 am to 1 pm
Overview of event
In anticipation of the major renovation to the LARTS building on November 7th, there will be a campus document destruction/recycling (Shredding) day. Departments can bring paper documents that are no longer needed or do not have to be retained in compliance with the Commonwealth’s records retention regulations. While this is associated with the LARTS renovation project, it is open to the entire campus community.
In the LARTS building, Facilities will place document shredding bins at various locations within the building. The day of the shredding event they will bring them to the recycling location for shredding. Please see frequently asked question regarding what can and cannot be shredded.
The University has contracted with Stericycle to have a shredding truck on campus at the parking lot of the LARTS building. The shedding will be open from 9 am to 1 pm. The campus community is encouraged to bring all applicable paper documents to be shredded.
